Summary

Jaipur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Rajasthan, faces severe water scarcity due to declining groundwater levels and exponential population growth. Despite dwindling resources, public behavior regarding water conservation remains unchanged, with excessive usage persisting due to low awareness. The study highlights that urban development authorities can optimize existing water distribution systems by addressing this gap through media campaigns and public awareness programs. This approach aims to mitigate the acute drinking water shortage affecting the city.
