Summary

A comprehensive analysis of Hellenistic and Roman tomb wall paintings in Paphos, Cyprus, reveals diverse themes and advanced manufacturing techniques. This study compiles all known painted tombs—both published and unpublished—using in-situ observations and laboratory examinations at the Paphos District Museum. A detailed catalogue and geographic map were created to document these artifacts. The research also examines the production technology of a sample of wall paintings using non-contact and analytical tools, providing new insights into ancient artistic practices on Cyprus.
