Summary
A comprehensive annotated list of 21 species, representing 12 genera and three families within the superfamily Bostrichoidea (Coleoptera), has been documented for the first time in the Central Sikhote-Alin region of Primorsky Krai, Russia. This study significantly expands the known biodiversity of this area, with notable discoveries including Xyletinus pectinatus and Dorcatoma punctulata, which were previously undocumented in Primorsky Krai, and Anthrenus ussuricus, a new record for the northern part of the region. The research, conducted from 2015 to 2022 using standard collection methods and archival data from the Federal Scientific Center of East Asia Terrestrial Biodiversity, highlights the presence of species with wide geographical ranges, including transpalearctic, holarctic, and cosmopolitan distributions. This work provides critical baseline data for understanding the ecological dynamics and conservation status of Bostrichoidea in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
