Summary

Digital exhibitions can effectively showcase the history and culture of Koguryo, a millennial kingdom with artifacts primarily located in North Korea and China. This study proposes integrating cultural storytelling into virtual spaces to overcome physical limitations and engage visitors. By dividing exhibition rooms chronologically—early (e.g., mythical thinking, residential culture), middle (e.g., costume culture, territorial expansion), and late periods (e.g., political conflicts with Tang Dynasty, astronomical knowledge)—the research demonstrates how digital platforms can deliver immersive narratives that deepen understanding of Koguryo's development. The approach leverages thematic storytelling to bridge historical gaps while maintaining cultural authenticity.
