Summary

Four new species of lichen, Enterographa bradleyana, E. caudata, E. murrayana, and E. nitidula, have been discovered in Everglades National Park, bringing the total known species in the genus to 11 within the site. These discoveries expand the understanding of tropical lichen diversity in the region. The research involved field collections from 27 islands (keys) in Florida Bay between 2010 and 2012, with species identification based on morphological and chemical characteristics. Notably, E. bradleyana distinguishes itself by smaller ascospores and unique chemistry, while E. caudata features unusually long-tailed ascospores and a distinct lichexanthone-schizopeltic acid combination. Additionally, an updated global key to the genus Enterographa is provided, incorporating 20 species, including those newly described.
