Summary
Tourists' perceptions of Xidi Village, a UNESCO-listed National Forest Village in Anhui, China, are dominated by humanistic and cultural elements, with natural landscapes receiving less emphasis. The study, using digital footprint analysis and semantic network modeling, revealed that while visitors overwhelmingly express positive emotions, commercialization and homogenization trigger negative sentiments. These insights suggest targeted landscape optimization strategies to balance ecological conservation, tourism development, and cultural preservation. The research highlights the importance of multidimensional perception in shaping sustainable village landscapes.
