Summary
A robust framework for assessing the synergistic development of nature-based tourism has been established, revealing significant spatial heterogeneity within China's Qinghai–Tibet Plateau National Parks Agglomeration. Shangri-La and Qinghai Lake National Parks serve as core nodes in the tourism flow network, while Mount Kailash, Gaoligong Mountain, and Pamir–Kunlun Mountains National Parks lag in coordinated development. This assessment, integrating multi-source data on resource complementarity, product connectivity, tourist source sharing, and information linkage, provides critical insights for optimizing the regional layout of national parks and offers a methodological foundation for similar developments globally.
