Summary

A stochastic two-species prey-predator model with prey refuge reveals critical dynamics: predators face certain extinction without prey, while prey populations stabilize between zero and infinity when isolated from predators. The study derives the Radon-Nikodym Derivative for this model, offering new mathematical insights into predator-prey interactions. Asymptotic analysis and moment estimation further quantify these dynamics. Applied to Keoladeo National Park, Indiathe model demonstrates how prey refuges influence species coexistence, providing a framework for understanding biodiversity conservation in such ecosystems.
