Summary
Eight well-preserved lamp fragments, dating to the period of church use, were uncovered during excavation and restoration work at Letoon Kilisesi, a Christian site within the sacred precinct of Xanthos-Letoon in Lycia. These lamps, categorized into three types—Lycia Type, North African Type, and Asia Minor/Ephesus Type—feature decorative elements such as shoulders, disks, and bases, with some produced using molds and others on potter's wheels. The study provides a typological analysis of these artifacts, comparing them to similar finds from the region, thereby offering new insights into the material culture and chronological context of this understudied site.
