Summary
A high level of eco-environmental awareness among community residents in the Jiajin Mountains Giant Panda Sanctuary was observed, particularly in knowledge, concern for ecological issues, participation in protection efforts, and pro-environmental behavior. However, significant gaps were identified, notably a lack of familiarity with environmental protection laws and insufficient dissemination of relevant policies by local authorities. The study, conducted through questionnaires, highlights the need for targeted educational interventions to strengthen residents' legal knowledge and government-led propaganda on eco-protection measures. These findings underscore the importance of community engagement and policy reinforcement in safeguarding the sanctuary's delicate ecosystem.
