Summary

A study on the Rabat-Sale region reveals that despite efforts to revitalize the Amazigh language, its use remains unstable across various domains due to a lack of genuine political commitment. The research, which employed methodological triangulation involving both quantitative and qualitative data collection from 151 informants, highlights the need for democratic implementation of Amazigh's official status to enhance its social visibility, fulfill its role as an official language, and ensure its perpetuation. This study underscores the disconnect between constitutional provisions and practical application, calling for stronger political will to support linguistic revitalization.
