Summary

A comprehensive analysis of geometrid moths (Lepidoptera, Geometridae) in the eastern Sikhote-Alin, particularly within the Botchinsky Nature Reserve, reveals a transitional fauna between the Boreal and East Asian regions. The study identified 247 species, including 140 new records for the region, significantly expanding known distributions of 101 species in the Far East. Notably, boreal species exhibited abnormal southern range shifts along the eastern Sikhote-Alin, potentially influenced by the cold Sea of Okhotsk. Three species (Epirrhoe pupillata, Malacodea regelaria, and Eupithecia analoga) were recorded for the first time in the Khabarovsk Region. The research integrates new findings with previously published data to provide a detailed zoogeographical analysis of this understudied region.
