Summary
A new conceptual and methodological approach to analyzing industrial landscapes, particularly their heritage dimension, has been developed. This approach provides practical tools for identifying and characterizing these landscapes, addressing both conceptual uncertainties and the need for territorial implementation. By synthesizing existing theories with practical instruments and regulations, it aims to support the protection, enhancement, and integrated management of industrial heritage sites like Fray Bentos Industrial Landscape. The methodology focuses on the specific nature and heritage dimension of these landscapes, offering a priority task for their sustainable administration.
