Summary

A new nematode species, Labronema przhiboroi sp. nov., has been discovered in the freshwater Lake Duluk on the Putorana Plateau in Eastern Siberia. This species belongs to the family Dorylaimidae and is distinguished from its closest relative, L. macrosoma, by its smaller body size, shorter spicules, and more pronounced cuticular ridges. The discovery contributes to the understanding of nematode biodiversity in this remote region. The research involved morphological analysis to differentiate the new species based on key anatomical features.
