Summary

Researchers have identified three new species of Anaulacomera, a genus of bush-crickets (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae), within the UNESCO-listed Iguaçu National Park and adjacent Atlantic Forest fragments in southern Brazil. These include Anaulacomera (Anaulacomera) mariellae, Anaulacomera (Anallomes) arlindoi, and Anaulacomera angelinae, with the latter's placement as incertae sedis reflecting ongoing taxonomic uncertainty. The discovery was based on male morphology, contributing to the understanding of biodiversity in this protected region. Distribution maps for species within the Inermis and Lanceolata groups were also provided, offering insights into their geographic range.
