Summary

A study on the Old Town of Lijiang reveals that participatory cultural experiences significantly enhance tourists' awareness and willingness to disseminate local ethnic culture. Using a combination of field investigations, expert interviews, and advanced text analysis (TF-IDF algorithm), researchers identified key factors such as Dongba culture, traditional architecture, and Naxi ancient music as pivotal in fostering cultural interaction. Experimental designs, including pre-test/post-test and cross-sectional surveys, demonstrated that 85% of tourists engaged in these activities showed increased awareness, while 75% expressed a desire to promote Lijiang's culture. This underscores the potential of culturally immersive tourism to strengthen identity and dissemination in UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
