Summary

Religious consciousness emerges as the primary driver for young tourists visiting Studenica Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and biosphere reserve. This study reveals that educational motivations significantly shape the tourist experience, alongside ecological, rural, and cultural interests. Using randomized questionnaires and mixed data collection methods, researchers analyzed responses from individuals under 35 to assess motivational factors influencing religious tourism. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) 4.0 was employed for statistical analysis, highlighting the complex interplay between personal beliefs, educational engagement, and sustainable heritage appreciation in modern tourism.
