Summary
Effective promotional strategies significantly boost tourist visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as demonstrated by Komodo National Park. A qualitative study using primary and secondary data revealed that targeted marketing efforts—such as enhanced visibility, compelling narratives, and strategic partnerships—can drive increased visitor engagement while supporting conservation goals. Unlike traditional approaches, this research highlights the dual role of promotion: not only to attract tourists but also to ensure sustainable tourism practices. The findings underscore the importance of tailored promotional strategies in balancing economic benefits with ecological preservation, offering a model for other protected areas.
