Summary
Salt deposits significantly threaten the preservation of the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. Research reveals that these corrosive salts accelerate structural degradation through crystallization and complexation processes. A promising solution involves the sorption method combined with Trilon B (disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid), which inhibits salt-induced damage by compressing and complexing harmful ions. Environmental monitoring data supports this approach, offering a potential strategy to mitigate salt-related deterioration in historical monuments.
