Summary

Ancient town walls, pivotal in shaping local identities and serving as cultural resources, face increasing failures that pose significant management challenges. The MO.M.U. project introduces an innovative, multi-disciplinary framework to address these issues, employing non-invasive technologies for knowledge, diagnostic, assessment, monitoring, and management of ancient town walls in Tuscany, Italy. This integrated approach includes a multi-hazard risk prioritization methodology aimed at preventive conservation and targeted interventions, offering a comprehensive solution to safeguard this critical cultural heritage.
