Summary

Advanced digital technologies, including serious games and virtual reconstructions, offer transformative potential for communicating and preserving cultural heritage. This study demonstrates how digital surveying, combined with historical research, can virtually reconstruct the Church and Dominican Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, bringing to life its Renaissance significance and troubled history. By modeling key rooms using a novel digital workflow, researchers showcase how these tools can effectively disseminate the monument's value as a testament to past eras, bridging gaps between current states and original appearances while contributing to innovative educational methods.
