A recent geotechnical study, combining piezometric monitoring with 3D modeling via laser scanning and photogrammetry, revealed critical vulnerabilities in the site's drainage system and subsoil structure. These findings highlight the urgent need for adaptive preservation strategies to mitigate long-term stability risks, offering a model for protecting other endangered historic sites.
