Summary

A newly analyzed inscription from the Athenian Agora, dated to 330/29–329/8 BCE, extends our understanding of the Athenian administration on Delos by four years. The damaged text, Agora I 5162, reveals details about land and building leases on Delos and Rheneia, as well as the roles of lesser-known officials. This record, the latest securely dated from this period, provides critical insights into administrative practices during the Athenian hegemony over these islands.
