Summary

A significant gap exists in the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to protect Sabratha, one of Libya's most culturally and historically valuable archaeological sites. This study reveals that despite its potential, AI adoption is hindered by a shortage of technical and human resources, as evidenced by statistical analysis of responses from 20 stakeholders, including tour guides and administrative staff. The findings underscore the urgent need for future development in this area to enhance the sustainability and preservation of such heritage sites.
