Nepoznati Studenički Prepis „Prološkog Žitija Svetog Simeona“

A previously unknown 19th-century transcript of the Prologue Life of Saint Simeon, housed in an uncataloged manuscript at Studenica Monastery (R7), reveals a concise hagiographic tradition distinct from earlier verse editions. Dated to November 1831 based on scribe records, this 'younger' version omits verses and emphasizes Simeon’s monastic foundations (Studenica and Hilandar monasteries) alongside miracles like myrrh streaming and grave healings. The study situates the transcript within manuscript traditions by analyzing textual peculiarities, providing a critical edition and translation of the prologue for the first time.
