Summary

Eleven syntaxa of tall-forb vegetation, including eight associations and three alliances, have been formally validated for the first time. These syntaxa pertain to the class Prangetea ulopterae Klein 1987 and are found in the Pamir-Alai and western Tian Shan Mountains, spanning Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Previously published as nomina provisoria, these names are now officially recognized according to the International Code of Phytosociological Nomenclature (ICPN). The research builds on earlier work by Nowak et al. (2020), providing a critical update to the phytosociological classification of this region's tall-forb communities.
