Summary
A shift in funerary art emerged during the Post-Amarna period, marked by distinct differences between private tombs in Thebes and Memphis. This study reveals that while both sites maintained traditional elements of procession scenes, Theban tombs exhibited a more elaborate and symbolic approach, reflecting local cultural continuity, whereas Memphite tombs showed greater stylistic innovation, possibly influenced by the transition from Amarna's religious upheaval. By analyzing iconographic details and art styles chronologically, researchers identified key visual motifs that distinguished these regions, offering new insights into Egypt's post-Amarna cultural evolution.
