Moti Masjid: Pearl of Lahore Fort Complex, Lahore

Moti Masjid, a Mughal-era mosque within the Lahore Fort Complex, stands as a testament to the architectural brilliance and intricate craftsmanship of the Mughal period. Constructed with white marble, it features delicate colored friezes and carvings that showcase the Mughals' exceptional taste and skill in design. However, the structure faces significant threats from environmental degradation and neglect, leading to visible damage and deterioration. This study documents the mosque's existing architectural features, embellishments, motifs, utility, and structural damages, highlighting the urgent need for conservation efforts to prevent irreversible loss.
