Summary

Archaeological research at Nea Paphos, Cyprus, introduced a revised five-phase chronology for Hellenistic pottery, challenging prior architectural hypotheses. Ceramological studies by Kraków archaeologists, part of the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology's excavation led by Wiktor Andrzej Daszewski, provided critical data supporting some theories while prompting re-evaluations in others. The study also marked the 40th anniversary of Daszewski's excavations and announced the launch of the Paphos Agora Project under new direction.
