Summary

A recent floristic survey of the Taimyr (Dolgan-Nenets) municipal district, including the North-West Putorana Plateau and Khatanga river basin, identified 12 plant species new to the district and 13 previously unknown on the Putorana Plateau. Among these are rare or range-edge species such as Botrychium multifidum, Carex lasiocarpa, and Saussurea alpina. The study, conducted through herbarization efforts between 2013–2016, provides detailed ecological data—including coordinates, habitat types, and collection dates—for each species. This expands the known flora of this UNESCO-listed region, offering critical insights for conservation and biodiversity studies in extreme northern ecosystems.
