Summary

Iranian bazaars, exemplified by the Tabriz Historic Bazaar Complex, demonstrate a spatial continuity that establishes hierarchy and physical connections among urban elements. This study reveals how such continuity fosters movement, dynamism, and a sense of place, creating defined scopes and territories for activities. The research employs a descriptive-analytic approach, using documentary and field methods to analyze Tabriz Bazaar. It highlights the principle of spatial continuity as a key factor in connecting or disconnecting spaces, thereby influencing urban development. This finding offers a model for contemporary architecture to integrate spatial continuity, enhancing communication and physical features within urban environments.
