A comprehensive analysis of the spatial and geographical characteristics of the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty (40 tombs) located in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, reveals critical insights for their efficient management and local utilization. The study identifies key urban environmental factors influencing these historical sites, which serve as significant regional assets reflecting past landscapes and topography. By integrating GIS technology and Space Syntax analysis, researchers quantitatively assessed the tombs' locational attributes, providing actionable recommendations for regulatory frameworks and sustainable preservation strategies. This approach offers a data-driven foundation for balancing heritage conservation with community engagement in Gyeonggi Province.
