Summary

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives play a pivotal role in the conservation of Delhi's built heritage, offering essential resources for maintaining and restoring historical sites like Humayun’s Tomb and Jantar Mantar. A qualitative analysis of corporate reports, case studies, and literature reveals that while CSR significantly contributes to heritage preservation, challenges such as funding sustainability and regulatory complexities persist. The study highlights successful examples of CSR-driven conservation but also underscores the need for improved regulatory frameworks, dedicated heritage funds, and stronger public-private partnerships to enhance efficacy. These findings suggest that strategic alignment of CSR with conservation goals can sustainably support cultural preservation in urban settings.
