Summary
A moderate yet significant relationship exists between religious belief, cultural enjoyment, and mental relaxation with the behavioral intention of tourists visiting Lumbini, Nepal. Religious beliefs emerge as the strongest influencer among these factors, shaping tourist behavior more than cultural enjoyment or mental relaxation. The study, conducted through surveys of 384 domestic and international religious tourists, employed the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method for analysis and Karl Pearson’s coefficient to measure correlations. These findings underscore the pivotal role of spiritual motivation in driving tourism to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
