A Study Revelation on Market and Value-Realization of Ecological Product to the Control of Rocky Desertification in South China Karst

Ecological products derived from rocky desertification control in South China Karst not only mitigate environmental degradation but also deliver higher economic value than traditional industries, offering a sustainable model for poverty alleviation and rural revitalization. This study synthesizes the development of such products across key domains—industrial models, quality monitoring, market spaces, and value realization—while identifying critical gaps requiring further research. By integrating ecological and economic attributes, it proposes a framework to maximize the long-term benefits of rocky desertification control efforts, supported by national policies spanning multiple five-year plans.
