Residents' acceptance of nightlife is low in both Ibiza (Spain) and Punta del Este (Uruguay), though slightly higher in the latter, likely due to associated problems. A descending cluster analysis revealed four distinct groups: Enthusiasts, Moderates, Critics, and Negatives. In Ibiza, Critics predominate, showing a generally negative stance while acknowledging positive aspects, whereas in Punta del Este, Negatives dominate with uniformly negative responses.
