Safranbolu Kentsel Sit Alanında Otopark Sorunu Ve Çözüm Alternatifleri

Safranbolu, recognized as Turkey's capital of protection and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, faces significant parking challenges within its Çarşı zone due to inadequate parking spaces. A study analyzed these issues and found that the existing conservation-based development plan does not sufficiently address the problem, particularly during weekends and holidays when tourism peaks. The research introduced three alternative approaches aimed at resolving these parking difficulties while maintaining the integrity of the protected urban site. These solutions focus on balancing tourism growth with sustainable urban planning, offering a model for other heritage sites dealing with similar challenges.
