Introduction to Tabriz Historic Bazaar Complex as One of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Iran

Tabriz Historic Bazaar Complex, recognized as the largest covered bazaar globally and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stands as a testament to resilience amidst natural disasters. Despite enduring severe earthquakes, floods, and fires throughout history, this ancient commercial hub in northwest Iran has not only survived but continues to thrive as Tabriz's most vital economic center. This study introduces the complex internationally for preservation efforts, leveraging qualitative research and personal observations. The findings offer valuable insights for conservationists, architects, interior designers, and urban planners focused on cultural heritage and historic cities.
