Arquitectura en La Laguna: El concepto vernáculo. Criterios de protección y el papel del dibujo

The study introduces a scientific and technical framework for protecting vernacular architecture in San Cristóbal de La Laguna by developing analytical categories and interpretative terms that capture the site's architectural heritage. This approach, rooted in Tenerife's history since conquest, creates a comprehensive glossary applicable across Canarias. Notably, it highlights the role of drawing as a critical tool for analyzing vernacular architecture, providing a method to systematically document and preserve its unique characteristics.
