Summary
A targeted campaign significantly increased local youth's awareness of the value and willingness to participate in conserving Malaysia's Lenggong Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (WHS). The study analyzed 175 questionnaires from secondary school students before and after the campaign, revealing notable improvements in both heritage appreciation and conservation engagement. This demonstrates that community-based initiatives can effectively enhance local commitment to preserving WHS criteria, ensuring long-term sustainability.
