Summary

Agritourism significantly boosts rural development and farm incomes, offering a viable alternative for farmers globally. A study on Samarkand’s medium-sized farms reveals that factors like income, employment, education, and proximity to urban areas positively influence farmers' participation in agritourism. Analyzing 10 agritourism farms and 100 non-participating ones via logistic regression, the research highlights Samarkand’s potential for sustainable rural development through innovative tourism activities. These findings underscore the importance of targeted support to harness agritourism’s economic benefits while addressing regional challenges.
