Nature conservation status of Gentiana lutea populations in the Pirin National Park

Gentiana lutea populations in Pirin National Park exhibit favorable conservation status with no significant threats identified. The study, surveying ten localities ranging from a few to several thousand individuals across 1–15 hectares, found viable populations with strong natural regeneration capabilities. Subpopulations included both generative and vegetative individuals, the latter predominating. This suggests robust resilience and healthy ecological dynamics for the species within the park.
