Summary
A detailed study of four ceramic contexts from the Thermes du Levant at Leptis Magna, dating between 250 and 400 AD, reveals significant advancements in the chronological framework of Roman ceramics in Tripolitania. By integrating archaeological and archaeometric analyses, researchers identified key imported (Sicilian and Eastern amphorae) and locally produced ceramic classes (Tripolitanian sigillata, culinary ware), refining regional economic insights and the site's overall chronology. This work contributes to a deeper understanding of Leptis Magna's 3rd-4th century economy and cultural dynamics.
