Summary

A groundbreaking method for multisensory guided tours, tailored for blind and low-vision individuals (CBV), has been developed and tested at the Alhambra's Bab Al-Saria art exhibition. This approach integrates audiodescriptions with tactile exploration of 3D replicas and relief images, enhancing accessibility without compromising the immersive experience. The study demonstrates that multisensory engagement significantly improves comprehension and emotional connection to historical and artistic content for CBV visitors. By bridging sensory gaps through carefully crafted verbal instructions and tactile models, this research sets a new standard for inclusive museum experiences at UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
