Summary

A study measuring indoor radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure in Hebron, West Bank—Palestine, found that the maximum total power density was 2.3 × 10⁻⁶ W/m², well below ICNIRP safety guidelines with an exposure quotient of 0.01. The average exposure across 343 locations was 0.08 × 10⁻⁶ W/m², with FM radio (46%) and GSM900 mobile networks (26%) being the dominant contributors. Outdoor RF sources accounted for 73% of indoor exposure, highlighting their significant impact on public health. The research employed power density measurements to assess compliance with international safety standards.
