Summary

A comprehensive survey of hawkweeds (Hieracium L.) on the Putorana Plateau identifies three new species: Hieracium czamyjashense, H. pseudarctophilum, and H. pseudofariniramum. The study also documents new localities for two endemic or rare species, including H. putoranicum and H. subfariniramum. Fieldwork conducted between 2018 and 2020 across the western, southwestern, and central parts of the plateau—including regions near Lake Sobachye, Talnakh Town, and the Putoransky Nature Reserve—revealed diverse habitats and ecological associations for these species. Additionally, a previously unpublished herbarium specimen of H. umbellatum from Snezhnogorsk was included in the study. This research contributes to the floristic knowledge of the Putorana Plateau, highlighting its biodiversity and the need for conservation efforts.
