Summary
A comprehensive regeneration plan for the Liangzhu culture, recognized as China's earliest monarchical period, is proposed, leveraging digital and multimedia technologies to enhance public engagement. The study recommends adopting virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) for exhibitions, simulated restorations, and innovative cultural products, addressing current limitations in their practical application. It also highlights the need for improved design and development of cultural products to align with customer preferences and suggests further research into integrating Liangzhu culture with nearby tourist attractions by studying local communities' spiritual connections and participation in heritage conservation. Technical improvements for VR and AR, such as new digital modeling methods and presentation mediums, are also suggested, aiming to provide an integrative approach applicable to similar Neolithic archaeological cultures.
