Summary

Research reveals that the Jangseogak archives, particularly the document, played a pivotal role in organizing royal rituals at Jongmyo Shrine during the late Joseon period. This study identifies how the archives managed ritual utensils and vessels, ensuring adherence to ceremonial protocols such as the Gilrye memorial service and the Gukjooryeui state rites under King Gojong's reign. By analyzing historical records and ritual manuals like the Daemyeongjiprye, the research reconstructs the systematic arrangement of objects used in these ceremonies, offering new insights into the ceremonial practices of the era.
