Summary

A study of the typical evergreen broad-leaved forest in Mount Wuyi, Southeastern China, reveals distinct species composition and community structure patterns. Analyzing a 1.44-hectare fixed plot, researchers identified 139 woody plant species (9,116 individuals) belonging to 34 families and 65 genera, with notable rarity and occasional species. The forest exhibits strong regional characteristics, particularly at the family and genus levels, with temperate traits dominating. Diameter structure analysis of key species shows a classic inverted 'J' shape, while spatial distribution indicates clustered patterns, though varying in intensity across species and diameter classes.
