Summary

A survey conducted in Kadamaian, Kinabalu Park, Sabah, during the Borneo Geographic Expedition 2019, recorded 23 species of dragonflies and damselflies (Odonata) across nine families. Notably, one species, Pericnemis dowi, was identified as a new record for Kinabalu Park, bringing the total known Odonata species in the park to 71. The survey, conducted at altitudes ranging from 400 m to 850 m above sea level, highlights the biodiversity of this lower-altitude region within the park. This study underscores the need for further exploration to comprehensively document the Odonata fauna of Kinabalu Park.
